With Private Client Services, you get the same access to the same system at the same speed as REALTORS®. You will know about new or updated listings immediately. With this self-managed system, you can also tag favourites, remove ones you don't like, track sales with SOLD prices, and share the listings with anyone you want. Easy. Efficient. Free.

​SET UP SEARCH ​ - Click the "Sign Up For PCS" button above and enter the starting criteria. Changing or adding parameters can be done once your account is activated. 

​ACCESS - In the activation notification email, click the link that says "Access your account here" or visit www.privateclientservices.com and login with the User Name and Password provided.

​CHANGE SEARCH PARAMETERS - Access your PCS site and click on the "Criteria" tab. Enter as many or as few criteria as you wish to focus or broaden your search and click "Save and Confirm". You can always change your criteria to increase or decrease the listings being captured.

• Use it on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.
• In the desktop and laptop version, you can set the view default to be Thumbnail, Map, or Table.
• Stay organized by categorizing listings as Favourites or Remove Listing.
  

Q:What happens after I sign up?

A: You'll receive an email indicating that your PCS account is awaiting activation. Shortly after, you'll receive a second email that it is live and available for access. In the second email, keep track of the username and password. See the 'Access' information on this page above for more details.

​Q: Can I unsubscribe?

A: Yes. For any reason, at any time. You're in charge. To do so, simply click the email address under my name at the top of your PCS site with the subject "Unsubscribe".

Q: Am I going to get spammed by signing up?

A: No. I will not sell or share your information with anyone. I will likely check in to make sure you were able to set up the search as you hoped and ask if there's anything else you need, but that's all.

Q: Doesn't realtor.ca have all the information?

A: Yes and no. Other sites, like realtor.ca and agent sites, get their data from the central MLS® system, but these sites take 24-72 hours to pull and post the information. PCS is your own, direct tie-in to an MLS® system, so you get the information the moment it's live - just like a REALTOR®. And most of these other sites also don't give sold prices - the most valuable number of all!

​Q: Why is sold price so important?

A: List, or asking, price is a great place to start, but it's where you finish in real estate that matters.

Q: I'm a seller. How would PCS help me?

A: You can set up a search for your neighbourhood or, if you're in a strata complex, for your specific development or building, and monitor the market. For such a detailed search, please contact me directly at erik@erikcarlson.ca as the self-signup doesn't open such granular parameters. Having me sign you up does not establish an agency relationship, so you can still have full control once your search is running.
